We’re thrilled to announce that Field 725 has a new location. We have relocated 5 miles down the road from Critchill Manor Estate to the new Redwood Rare Breeds Farm Park between the buzzing hubs of Frome and Bruton.
The campsite is nestled in the heart of the Mendip hills in a gorgeous wildflower meadow surrounded by a combination of thriving natural woodland and gorgeous countryside views.
Facilities will be basic including compost toilets, hot showers and shared washing up facilities with the focus being on reconnection with each other and with nature. Fires are encouraged so long as they are off the ground and we will be lighting a communal fire each night for campers to enjoy
To make life as easy as possible we’ve got lots of pre-pitched options for you to choose from including luxurious safari bell tents with real beds, traditional tipi’s for an authentic back to nature experience, tipi tents that offer a fantastic experience with fewer bugs, and unfurnished pre-pitched bell tents meaning you can simple arrive, unpack and enjoy the countryside.
If you have your own tent we have space for that too, with wild camping pitches available in the rest of the meadow.
We’re very lucky that our new home happens to be a rare breeds farm so there are plenty of opportunities for seeing the animals.
We’ll even have a coffee van onsite making fantastic coffee with local milk and serving up delicious pastries and other treats to set you up for a day of relaxation or exploration.
